Hashtag Orchestra is an app that tracks Twitter hashtags and plays sound every time a hashtag is tweeted. Through oralization of data people are able to grasp how much is tweeted in a nonlinear way and compare different hashtag groups. Doing so enables the user to really understand how, why, and how much people are tweeting and consuming social media. It breaks the passive consumption by actively comparing and overlaying tweets.
